Cinder
Block
A masonry block often used in the construction of the
interior walls of houses and low-rise buildings. This is
because moisture will cause cinder block to deteriorate.
Each cinder block usually has a hollow center that is
divided into three. One block usually measures 8" x 8" x 16" in
size.
Cinder block is made of crushed cinders and Portland
cement. It is lighter and has a higher insulation value than
concrete block.
