Exposed Aggregate

A type of concrete surface in which (usually) rounded stones are exposed at the top of the surface of the cured concrete.

Exposing the aggregate (rounded stones) is achieved with the use of an application to retard the setting process on the surface, which removes the cement paste to a desired depth.
