Patio umbrellas or outdoor umbrellas are a good way to add an air of relaxation and enjoyment that we all want our patios and backyards to show. A patio umbrella will add a design statement and creates a comfort zone under the sun that brings with it a sense of enclosure that is pleasing.

An outdoor umbrella will bring about a festive touch just where you need it, and it will bring an added decorative element to a patio table.

Before buying an umbrella, consider the location you want to place your umbrella and the activities that will go on in the surrounding area. This will help determine which umbrella is best for you.

We must all now be careful about the effects of the sun. An umbrellas allows you to enjoy the outside without reciving too much sun.


A Word About Use

When not in use, keep in mind that umbrellas should be closed, just in case it becomes windy.  Leaving an umbrella open during windy weather may cause damage, and it may void the warranty.

Just like cushions, if the umbrella is left continuously outside, then it is natural for some dirt and grime to cling to the material. All outdoor umbrellas come with cleaning instructions. Many can be cleaned by using mild soapy warm water and a brush. Rinse thoroughly. Then open the umbrella so it will air dry naturally and completely. Do not use a dryer, unless instructed to do so in the instructions that came with the umbrella.

An outdoor umbrella will allow you to enjoy outdoor living more comfortably and without excessive sun exposure. Buying an umbrella is usually a good idea.
