Segregation
In the construction trade, "segregation" is the unwanted separation of the ingredients of wet concrete. This is
caused by overworking, vibrations, or non-uniform mixing of the ingredients. It is fairly common for segregation to
occur when an inexperienced mixer overworks a mixture of concrete while trying to remove air bubbles.
See Separation, and Bleeding.
